e-Discover the Classics January 4, 2011

Filed under: Uncategorized — svref @ 8:11 pm

Did you get an e-book reader for Christmas? Wondering what to put on it? The Library is now offering nearly 500 classic titles (more than 400 e-books and 50 e-audiobooks), all downloadable for free. Find favorites like Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness, Sunzi’s Art of War, or Beatrix Potter’s Tale of Peter Rabbit, courtesy of Project Gutenberg and the Colorado Library Consortium.

You can find these classic e-books in our catalog by searching for Sunnyvale Project Gutenberg.  Or head over to our e-books page, where you can access all of the Library’s thousands of digital titles.

Confused about e-books? Don’t know how to get started? Mark your calendars for February 15th, 7 p.m, and come to our new class, E-Books Made Easier. We’ll discuss devices, formats, and introduce the library’s free collections.
