National Poetry MonthApril is National Poetry Month, a month-long celebration of poetry, established by the Academy of American Poets. Started in 1996, it has grown into the largest literary celebration in the world. You may request the American Academy of Poets to email you a Poem-A-Day throughout the month of April. In a book display in the Library you will find best loved American poems, poems from other lands, works by modern poets, serious and humorous poems, poems for children and poems for all of us. Celebrate poetry today!
